Donald Glover

Donald Glover is best known for his work on the NBC show Community alongside Joel McHale and Chevy Chase. Glover has also been a writer for the NBC series 30 Rock and is part of the comedy sketch group Derrick Comedy. He graduated from New York University with a degree in Dramatic Writing in 2006.[1] He was nominated for the Writers Guild of America Award award for Best Comedy Series at the February 2009 ceremony for his work on the third season of 30 Rock.

In 2008, rumors surfaced that Donald was to become a cast member of Saturday Night Live and that he would portray Presidential candidate Barack Obama. Donald refuted the SNL rumors on his Facebook profile: "Just to let people know. I was NOT asked to SNL. I just auditioned and there's been a rumor spreading around the web. Just trying to clear the air."

His stand-up special will be aired on Comedy Central on March 19, 2010.

Since 2009, Glover has starred as Troy on the NBC comedy Community.

Despite having the same last name, and contrary to what some Internet rumors have claimed, he is not related to actor Danny Glover.
