The desire of scientists to find other planets like the Earth started to do with their desire to launch into space using the COROT satellite from the European Space Agency (ESA) and also added NASA.The scientists are using sophisticated spacecraft that will examine the size of the new planet earth. Expected to be announced next month the first research results, which will reveal how planets like Jupiter could be spinning close to its star. In addition, they also expect, in three years of the discovery of Earth-like planets will be thoroughly done.
"I see there are some good research about the planet's findings will be announced, and we are ready to announce to the public next month, the fastest," says David Latham, one of the scientists from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, as quoted in Science News, Sunday (13/12/2009).
Also principal investigator William Borucki of NASA's Ames Research Center expects science team will presentation approximately 30 papers next month at the American Astronomical Society meeting in Washington.
Borucki said the result was rejected due to some very unusual and he did not know when the team will be ready to reveal to the public. Latham said the data collection during the first 45 days had approximately 200 interesting findings.
