MSI GT640: Most Powerful Notebook

MSI looks more aggressive in producing high-quality hardware. Having launched the GTX 275 Twin Frozr, P55 motherboard series with DrMOS capabilities and features high overclocking, MSI now become one of the first manufacturers to launch notebooks with quad-core processors the latest mobile Intel Clarksfield (45nm, mobile Core i7), the notebook latest gaming MSI, GT640.

Processor Intel recently announced at the IDF event in San Francisco, near the end of September last, is a quad-core processors first mobile with 45nm fabrication, which is used in a notebook. MSI GT640 is rumored to be equipped with Intel Core i7 720QM, with a clock speed of 1.6GHz and 6MB of L3 cache.

In addition to quad-core processors are powerful, MSI GT640 is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 graphics on mobile 15.4-inch screen (1680x1050), 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB (probably 7200rpm) HDD, and a Blu-ray burner. MSI also provides an HDMI port, a 2MP webcam, an eSATA port, and 7.1 channel audio output. MSI has not yet given an official price information GT640, due to be launched towards the end of October 2009.
